Nationally, shelters are in their third year of having too many animals and not enough adoptions. Spaying and neutering pets is critical. Our outreach program provides cat and dog spay/neuter assistance to domestic violence survivors working with advocates at the Crystal Judson Family Justice Center and those living in low-income housing and sheltered homelessness at the Nativity House Apartments, Nativity House Day Shelter, the Tacoma Stability Site, and the Oasis Inn. Spay/neuter assistance is always needed and appreciated by the clients we help.
We are pleased to partner with Feisty Felines, a local non-profit and volunteer-run organization, to provide cat spay/neuter assistance to those who qualify. Feisty Felines’ transport service for cats provides an option to receive low-cost spay/neuter surgery at the Noah Center in Stanwood, WA or their Rochester, WA location. Visit the Feisty Felines website to learn more about their transport service, or to inquire about voucher assistance.
Please consider making a contribution to our community spay/neuter fund.
